Exercisim and Weirdness in Ireland
#1
Not very ES related but I wondered is this a ploy to get people back to the church out of fear. If people do believe themselves to be possessed then can a priest not elevate their fear by praying over them and let the placebo effect take over?or is there a case for some people to be possessed and therefore you’d inagine they will become known to the Gardai and medical services (You’d expect)

Could be handy excuse in front of the judge.
My client was possessed by a demonic spirit, and instead of a custodial sentence a exorcism would be best for him....

🤣 There was a time that you could never talk about this stuff or slag it off. It’s not beyond the realms of possibility that the day will come in which this will be used as a defense. The church have legitamised it now.

It’s a strange world and getting stranger. I’m heading off for an old pray just in case.
