Its that time of year again, when we are getting ready for Christmas, family and Santa. Sadly not everyone will be looking forward with anticipation, instead simple hoping for food, warmth or a small present. Thankfully there are goups like 'Little Blue Heroes' and 'Barnados' out there. Both help the youngest and most vulnerable in society and this Christmas we ask that you join us in making a donation at https://www.littleblueheroes.org/donate/ or https://www.barnardos.ie/christmas

Adrian Ismay - NI Prison Officer

Belfast Telegraph 16-03-2015

RTE News 16-03-2016 - Investigation into Adrian Ismay's death has been upgraded to a murder inquiry.

I was actually away last week when this explosion happened so I didn't actually hear about it.  I knew Adrian only briefly, having spent a week working with him about 2 years ago.  Actually, I was away with the same group of people when the bomb actually happened.  It didn't actually register with us that something happened and it had faded away from the headlines when we came back.  The first we knew about it was when he became ill again and died.

He really was a gentle giant and will be a great loss to his community.
