Sept 1999, Garda Ambrose Fogarty, 27, from Terryglass, Tipperary and Garda Richard Nolan, 42, from Enniscorthy, Co Wexford, died when their patrol car crashed in Enniscorthy as they went to the aid of colleagues. Gda Nolan was married with three children.
