Tottenham Riots
We are the police pure and simple. We are tasked with enforcing the law and upholding the trust of our citizens. They place a trust in us to try and do the right thing and use common sense.

The above captures what it is to be a policeman no matter where you work. It meant to be impartial and non-political. But it never is. Political forces try to interfere and direct the course of policing when it is the men and women of the force who know best how to do be a police officer.

It is that political interference which has made the senior officer of some of the UK forces impotent and in some cases once they got pips they have back bone removed.
He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster.

We missed the Croydon shooting while the site was down. - Home of the real emergency service personnel.
Do you think there is as much political interference in policing here as compared to what there seems to be in the UK??

God forbid if the same were to happen in Dublin tonight what do you think the difference in tactics would be, compared to the UK?
