Someone has been made ammenable
What exactly does that term ammenable mean in those letters you get when you report a crime?
There seems to be several different definitions of the word and none make too much sense.
1. Responsive to advice, authority, or suggestion; willing.
2. Responsible to higher authority; accountable: amenable to the law.
3. Susceptible or open, as to testing or criticism

Number 2 is our use basically someone has been or is due to be before the courts/jlo/adult caution. Basically we got the person we suspect committed the offence.
