Its that time of year again, when we are getting ready for Christmas, family and Santa. Sadly not everyone will be looking forward with anticipation, instead simple hoping for food, warmth or a small present. Thankfully there are goups like 'Little Blue Heroes' and 'Barnados' out there. Both help the youngest and most vulnerable in society and this Christmas we ask that you join us in making a donation at https://www.littleblueheroes.org/donate/ or https://www.barnardos.ie/christmas

Was that 700 calls for DFB last night or 700 calls for the entire ERCC area?
We are the willing, led by the unknowning, doing the impossible, for the ungrateful.

The way it was tweeted sounded like Dublin calls, they did clarify if asked but the media all ran with it that the DFB responded to 701 calls
Great PR in fairness

Lazy journalism too in fairness

How often have you seen a tweet from an emergency service or aa roadwatch...and two tweets up a paper "BREAKING NEWS: Emergency services deal with incident"

And you read the article the paraphrase the tweet and that's it

That's click bait.

They want you to go into the page to generate page impression stats which they then use for selling ads
