Not to fond of the new uniforms, the cape is a bit iffy to say the least and that hair is not regulation, but I can see @Vidar wearing it though 148

Those who can, do.

Those who can't do, teach.

Photo on the journal of the high powered cars is two traffic insignias and a few i30's. What's a high powered i30?

I love how these operational names originate, they arent supposed to be named to reflect the actual operation but instead theres a database and it spits out a completely non related word like Operation Oak was against The Dons gang, Pineapple against Gilligan and crew but evidently only when its a non sexy internal operation not dreamed up by a politician

But my question is this €5M was addition for fleet

Is this another €5 million? There will be loads of overtime but overtime can't solve the lack of member long term

More motorway checkpoints, need to get more 4x4s and more cars

5 Million?? If its anything like the standard fare in Ireland it will be 1 million on vehicles and 4 million on administration.

Smoke and mirrors. Make every new thing look like a recent idea. And look at the shot they did on twitter when lads were up collecting new vehicles. It would have been good to see a pic alongside the clapped out car it was replacing.

Of course it is! PR at its best!

Anyone hear good or bad reports on insignias?

But sure where are they going, they are an advanced traffic car. I saw a picture on Facebook, it had traffic insignias, unmarked q7, marked x5, a few bicycles and in i30.

Some traffic units hv trained drivers who cannot drive Insignias as cert is power to weight ratio!

It's i40 but yes I know it's the same thing applies

Some papers are reporting x5s rather than 530ds
